    Get ready for another body-switching adventure! A sequel to the popular Disney movie Freaky Friday is finally moving forward. Nisha Ganatra, known for directing episodes of Welcome to Chippendale, is on board to direct the film.

    This is exciting news for fans of the original 2003 movie. There were rumours about a sequel for a while, with both Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan expressing their interest in returning to their roles. Curtis even hinted at talking to Disney directly about it!

    The original Freaky Friday was a big hit, making over $160 million worldwide. The same team behind the first movie, including producer Andrew Gunn, is reuniting for the sequel. We don’t know yet when the new movie will be released, but it’s definitely something to look forward to! Source
