Euro Gang Entertainment, a new company by Gianni Nunnari (known for 300 and Immortals) and Simon Horsman (famous for Legacy: The True Story of the L.A. Lakers), is expanding its business in Italy. They’re working with Alfred Film, a Rome-based company started by Roberto Amoroso and Maria Theresia Braun. This collaboration is exciting because Alfred Film aims to produce big-hit movies and has already seen success with a comedy that made over $5 million.
Roberto Amoroso used to work at Sky Italia, helping create popular Italian shows like Gomorra, while Maria Theresia Braun has a strong background in marketing and original productions from her time at NBCUniversal in Italy. Together, they’re working on a mix of projects with Euro Gang:
1. Black Vatican is a horror series about a Pope controlled by Satan, created by Andrea Nobile and Mizio Curcio. The show will be directed by Marco Kreuzpainter, a talented German director.
2. Les Italiens is a movie about a criminal gang in Paris, written by Andrea Nobile. The story follows a heist gone wrong that causes community uproar.
3. Amore alla lettera is a Valentine’s Day romantic comedy with a supernatural twist, co-written by Michele Abatantuono and Lara Prando.
4. At Full Speed is a comedic film about a family whose electric minivan’s cruise control gets stuck, forcing them into a high-speed adventure.
Nunnari and Horsman are excited to work with Amoroso and Braun because of their vast network and deep understanding of the industry. Braun and Amoroso are equally thrilled about the partnership, seeing it as a big step for their young company.
