Wonder Woman fans, hold your horses! There was gonna be a movie reuniting the classic and modern versions of the Amazonian princess! Lynda Carter, who played Wonder Woman on TV in the 70s, was set to join Gal Gadot in a brand new adventure. But unfortunately, those plans lassoed themselves up and got thrown in the reject bin.
Lynda says the movie would’ve been something special, focusing on Wonder Woman’s core message of peace and love, not just punching bad guys. She even became good friends with Gal Gadot and director Patty Jenkins while working on it. They were all excited to bring this story to life.
Here’s the twist: Patty, the director, says she’s done with Wonder Woman for now. The studio that makes these movies, Warner Bros., is revamping their whole superhero squad. They’re focusing on characters like Batman and Supergirl, and Wonder Woman isn’t officially part of the new plan… yet.
So, what does this mean for Wonder Woman? Don’t fret just yet! The world of superheroes is always changing, and there’s a chance Wonder Woman could return in a future movie with a whole new adventure. We just have to wait and see what Warner Bros. cooks up next.
“It seems to me that Wonder Woman is different from other characters. She’s not just a superhero. Her whole thing is about peaceful solutions. She’s not aggressive to be aggressive. It’s a different story.” https://t.co/EFMPp1JNWr
