At the 2024 Golden Globe Awards, actress Jennifer Lawrence, known for her Hunger Games movies, made headlines. She jokingly said, If I don’t win, I’m leaving! When her nomination was announced, which became popular online. She also had a noteworthy reunion with Lenny Kravitz, who was her co-star in The Hunger Games. They played Katniss and Cinna, and their meeting was a big moment for the fans, especially after the success of the new prequel, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.

In an interview about her film No Hard Feelings, Lawrence said she’s open to playing Katniss again if a good opportunity comes up. But the franchise’s producer, Nina Jacobson, and director, Francis Lawrence, feel that Katniss’ story has been fully told. They will consider a return only if Suzanne Collins, the author of the original series, decides to write more about Katniss.

The prequel movie, The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, is set 60 years before the first Hunger Games story, so Lawrence wasn’t part of it. Rachel Zegler played the main character, Lucy Gray Baird. Zegler shared her experience of meeting Lawrence at a fashion show in Paris, where they enjoyed a light-hearted moment together.

Lawrence was a nominee at the Golden Globes for “No Hard Feelings,” but the award went to Emma Stone instead. Kravitz was also nominated for his music in the movie “Rustin,” but lost to a song by Billie Eilish from the movie Barbie. Source
