Vertical has picked up Conor Soucy’s first film as a director, titled Dead Whisper. The movie will start showing in some theaters on July 5, and it will be available on AppleTV and Prime Video starting July 9.
Dead Whisper is a horror and thriller movie featuring Samuel Dunning from Tim Travers and the Time Travelers Paradox. This movie also introduces Rob Evan to movie audiences; he’s previously acted in major Broadway shows like Les Misérables and Jekyll & Hyde. Other actors in the film include Tana Sirois, Samantha Hill, Codey Gillum, Chris Goodwin, Dhane Ross, Hester Wilkinson, and Bruce Winant.
The story centers around Elliot Campbell, played by Dunning, a lawyer from Cape Cod who goes to a mysterious island. There, he faces a dangerous choice: the chance to see his deceased daughter again, which could risk his own soul.
