The upcoming movie Stolen Girl will feature actors Kate Beckinsale, Scott Eastwood, and James Cromwell. Directed by James Kent, known for his work on Testament of Youth and The Aftermath this drama is set to begin shooting in Southern Italy, specifically in the Apulia region.

Stolen Girl is based on the true story of an American woman, Maureen Dabbagh. Maureen spent many years searching for her daughter, who was taken to the Middle East by her ex-husband. The movie starts in 1993 in Ohio, where Maureen’s 6-year-old daughter Amina is secretly taken out of the country by her father, Karim.

After many failed attempts to find her daughter, Maureen teams up with a professional who specializes in finding internationally abducted children. This leads her to Beirut, where she finally finds her daughter and ex-husband and is faced with an extremely tough decision.
