The new trailer for “A Quiet Place: Day One” has just been released, adding another chapter to the popular scary movie series that started with “A Quiet Place” in 2018. This movie takes us back to the start of the scary events when dangerous aliens that can hear extremely well come to Earth.
A Quiet Place: Day One – Official Trailer
While John Krasinski, known for “The Office” and “Jack Ryan,” directed the first two movies and featured alongside his wife Emily Blunt, this third movie is directed by Michael Sarnoski. The earlier films showed the Abbott family’s struggle to stay safe from the aliens. The second movie gave us a peek into how everything began. This new film, “Day One,” will show a different set of characters trying to survive the alien attack right from the start, but this time in New York City.
The cast for this prequel includes new faces to the franchise like Lupita Nyong’o from “Us” and “Black Panther,” Alex Wolff, known for “Hereditary,” Joseph Quinn from “Stranger Things,” and Denis O’Hare from “True Blood.” Djimon Hounsou, who we saw in “A Quiet Place Part II,” is also back.
Paramount Pictures, Platinum Dunes, and Sunday Night Productions are behind the making of the film, with John Krasinski still playing a big role in the production team along with Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller.
“A Quiet Place: Day One” is set to hit theaters on June 28. Don’t miss the trailer for a sneak peek of the action. Source
