Wrestler and musician Chris Jericho is teaming up with author and filmmaker Jay Bonansinga for a new psychological thriller called “Self Storage.” The movie, based on Bonansinga’s 2016 novel, follows a father and son who accidentally lock themselves in a storage unit while dealing with drug addiction. The main character, John Fitzgerald, will be played by Lew Temple from “The Walking Dead.” Bonansinga, known for his work on “The Walking Dead” novels, will direct the film from his own script.
“Self Storage” is the second adaptation of a Bonansinga novel, following “The Killer’s Game.” Jericho’s production company, Babyface Assassin Productions, will executive produce the film along with Bonansinga and others. Jericho, besides his executive role, will also have a significant supporting role in the movie. Recently, Jericho has been involved in acting with credits like “Country Hearts Christmas” and “Terrifier 2.” He has also extended his contract with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) until December 2025.
