Daryl McCormack, a 31-year-old actor from Ireland, has joined the cast of Rian Johnson’s upcoming film, Knives Out 3, titled Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery. In this movie, he will be part of a star-studded lineup that includes Daniel Craig, who returns as the clever detective Benoit Blanc.
The cast also features well-known actors such as Andrew Scott from Fleabag, Kerry Washington, Glenn Close, Josh O’Connor from Challengers, Cailee Spaeny from Priscilla, Jeremy Renner, and Mila Kunis.
Rian Johnson is not only directing but also writing and producing this third installment of the Knives Out series. The film is set to start production this summer and is scheduled for a 2025 release on Netflix. With the film still in the early stages, more casting news is expected soon.
The first Knives Out film, released in 2019 by Lionsgate, was a big success. It tells the story of detective Benoit Blanc as he solves the murder of a famous crime novelist.

The second film, Glass Onion, follows Blanc as he investigates a new mystery involving a tech billionaire on a private island. The third film promises to present Blanc with his most challenging case yet.
Netflix acquired the rights to the Knives Out series for over 450 million dollars after the success of the first film.
Apart from Knives Out 3, McCormack is known for his role in the comedy-drama Good Luck to You, Leo Grande with Emma Thompson, the Apple TV+ series Bad Sisters by Sharon Horgan, and the fifth season of Peaky Blinders. He will also appear in the disaster movie Twisters, set to be released by Universal in July. Source
