The CAA’s seventh annual Amplify summit is set to take place, focusing on bringing together artists, brands, and leaders of color. This exclusive event will be held on June 10th in Ojai, California. Former First Lady Michelle Obama, co-founder of Higher Ground Productions, will be one of the key speakers. She will be joined by other prominent figures such as actress and producer Regina King, NBA legend and activist Dwyane Wade, and Grammy-winning artist Ricky Martin.

The summit is organized by a team of diverse CAA agents and executives. They aim to explore ways to bring about significant changes in leadership and popular culture through business deals, social justice efforts, and other collaborative actions.

Natalie Tran, a key organizer, emphasized the importance of connecting influential people from various fields to work together toward a brighter future. This gathering is especially crucial now as visible commitments to making an impact are becoming rarer.

The event will also feature many notable figures from the entertainment world, including Oscar winner Cord Jefferson, Emmy winner Lee Sung Jin, and multi-award-winning artist Jon Batiste. Additionally, personalities like Padma Lakshmi, Ego Nwodim, Ashley Park, Misty Copeland, Roy Wood Jr., Demián Bichir, and Mo Amer will attend.

Not just limited to entertainment, the summit will also have civil rights activist Colin Kaepernick, news anchor Laura Coates, and leaders from various advocacy and rights organizations like the ACLU and Human Rights Campaign, making it a powerful gathering for fostering change. Source
