Lindsay Lohan made a surprise visit at the New York City premiere of the “Mean Girls” musical movie on Monday. Lohan, who originally played Cady Heron in the 2004 film, joined Tina Fey, the writer-producer of the movie, who also acts as Ms. Norbury again. Angourie Rice stars as the new Cady Heron in this version.
Lohan and Fey also met up with other cast members from the original film, including Daniel Franzese (Damian Hubbard) and Rajiv Surendra (Kevin Gnapoor, the mathlete who raps).
When asked if the original cast will appear in the new film, Fey hinted to Variety on the pink carpet, “We have some fun cameos, including Ashley Park and Tim [Meadows], and some influencer friends, but you’ll have to watch the movie this Friday to find out.”
The premiere also saw other stars from “Mean Girls” and its creative team, like Reneé Rapp (who played Regina George in the Broadway version), Christopher Briney, Auli’i Cravalho, Jaquel Spivey, Avantika, Bebe Wood, Busy Philipps, Jon Hamm, Megan Thee Stallion, cinematographer Bill Kirstein, choreographer Kyle Hanagami, and co-directors Arturo Perez Jr. and Samantha Payne.
