Cameron Diaz recently spoke on the Lipstick on the Rim podcast, addressing rumours about Jamie Foxx’s behaviour during the filming of their Netflix movie Back in Action. There were talks suggesting Foxx was difficult to work with and that Diaz might not want to act again because of this experience. Diaz strongly refuted these claims, praising Foxx for being an uplifting presence on set and beloved by the crew. She emphasized that they had a great time working together, highlighting Foxx’s professionalism.
Diaz, in this movie, marks her return to a leading role after almost ten years. She expressed her enjoyment of working with Foxx, calling him an exceptional and fun colleague. Diaz acknowledged there were minor production issues, typical in filmmaking, but nothing that caused significant delays, except for an event towards the end which she chose not to discuss.
She also chose not to comment on Foxx’s health incident but mentioned that he is doing well now. Diaz expressed her frustration with the negative rumours, admiring Foxx’s classy approach to not engaging with the negativity.
Cameron Diaz insists there's no truth to any reports that Jamie Foxx's behavior on new comedy 'Back in Action' was abusive or obstructive. https://t.co/elI2hu1roA
